Worldwide Inflation-Adjusted Highest Grossing Films Of All Time

The question is often asked: "What is the highest grossing film of all time?" Well, the only way to answer that in any meaningful way is to adjust the grosses of films according to inflation. About 10 years ago (2000-2001) I came across a list
compiling the worldwide, inflation-adjusted, highest grossing films of all time. I haven't been able to find one since. Since I was sure I wasn't the only one who wanted to know the answer to this question, I decided to do a bit
(well, a lot) of research. That research is finally at the point where I can present the list.
